The school community joined together once again to celebrate SPSM's rich and varied cultural heritage. This year's International day was another fantastic success. With performances (staff, parents and children took part) from Britain, Turkey, The Caribbean and Japan (to name but a few) and a vast array of wonderful foods from all around the World, we did what we set out to do, celebrate! Thank you to all the parents / carers for your generosity in sharing all these wonderful dishes and to the children for all their hard work in entertaining us. This weekend, SPSM opened its doors to welcome new families to look around our wonderful school. The open day was a fantastic way to show off our school (many people in Hackney don't always know we are tucked away here!) and all we have to offer. We were able to welcome some new faces to our SPSM community and had some fun along the way. The photos showcase what a great day it was.
