Drum and Dance Performance

Throughout Autumn Term, Years 3 and 4 (and some children from the after-school club) have been working with Miss Harley and her team to learn about African drumming and dancing and the importance it has in African culture.  Years 3 and 4 and the after-school children learnt drumming and dance routines which celebrate African identity and the beauty and heritage associated with this.  Towards the end of the term, all of the children had perfected their routines and shared these with us all in a special whole school performance.
