Cycle Training - Year 6

We are excited to be working with Cycle Confident to offer Schools Levels 1 & 2 Cycle Training.  Year 6 will have cycle training over two weeks (week beginning 24.11.25 and week beginning 1.12.25).

This cycle training is provided to all children in year 6 unless you actively opt out of this. Children who can bring in their own bikes are encouraged to do so, provided they are the right size and in a roadworthy condition. This enables them to learn on a bike they are familiar with. If this is not possible, limited bikes are available to borrow. Helmet wearing is not obligatory but if you wish your child to wear one, it must be brought in by your child. Children will not wear a helmet for training if they do not bring one.  If you wish to opt out, please let the school know as the assumption is that this provision is for all children in Year 6.  Please see the link for further parent / carer information below.
