Stay safe with our Online Safety home learning activities (updated 27.05.20):
We are delighted to work with the online safety experts Think U Know (part of CEOP) and share the new #OnlineSafetyAtHome packs. Learning resources are now available with activities for parents and carers to use at home, each link has four 15 minute activities to do with your child. Select the correct age range for your child or children from the options below. These useful packs and other information can also be found in our Parents and Carers section of the website under 'Online Safety Information'. Previous home learning packs and guidance for parents and carers in supporting these learning activities are also available by choosing the link at the end.
Weekly Music Lessons - 'Sing N Shine' - Every Wednesday at 2pm (updated 20.05.20)
Online singing workshops called 'Sing N Shine' will happen weekly on Wednesdays at 2pm on Youtube Live and will be led by the very experienced Choir Leader Patrick Stockbridge. You simply need to log into their Youtube channel to view them and join in. Sessions last about 30 minutes and are free to all. There are some exciting events coming up - Sing N Shine will be taking part in a Virtual Royal Albert Hall online performance on 3rd June and their special Festival Week begins on 1st June. Rehearsals for the virtual performance will take place each Wednesday at 2pm.
Sumdog is an online learning portal set up for our children. It is an interactive learning tool which reinforces the learning from your child's classroom in maths, spelling, reading and grammar. New work will be added daily, please ensure your child is working on Sumdog each day. Logon and password details will be sent home. Click on the link for easy access to the Sumdog website.
School Dinners (updated)
School dinners will be provided to children who are in school. Due to new stricter Government measures announced recently, school will no longer be serving dinners for all at lunchtime. If you have been using meal vouchers you will need to redeem them quickly as they expire within one month.
