Roadwatch

This week Year 5 had some special visitors from Hackney's Road Safety Team.  As well as having some great discussions about road safety and safe and sustainable travel, Year 5 also had the chance to put some of their knowledge to the test.  Alongside the Road Safety Team and school staff the children went to Queensbridge Road where they used speed detectors to monitor the speed of local drivers.  SPSM children monitored lots of drivers who were breaking the speed limit for Hackney, hopefully these drivers will have seen our children in action and think about becoming safer drivers.
