Make £5 Grow

Children were given a challenge to turn £5 into riches.  They had to come up with an enterprising idea that would make a substantial profit, selling their products after school on Friday - the class with the largest profit being declared the winners!  There was a very competitive air around SPSM on Friday and children showed off their ideas after promoting these in the days running up to the sale.  The event itself had a great atmosphere with jewellery, food, bookmarks and fitness challenges among the many great ideas the children came up with.  The winners will be celebrating at a restaurant and will work together to decide what to buy with their profit for their classroom or for the whole school.  The week was a huge success and the children gained a lot of entrepreneurial skills.  Thank you to parents and carers for some very generous donations.  And the winners are...
