Kingswood - Year 6
Year 6 go to Kingswood!
Year 6 got off to a fantastic start on their journey to Kingswood for 3 days of residential activities and fun. Suitcases were packed and the sun was shining as the coach departed SPSM at 10:30 on Wednesday morning. There was lots of excitement from the children as we waved them off.
Follow the children's diary of events on this page, there will be updates sent by Miss Komur and photos to follow.
Children will return to school on Saturday 17th June. The coach is expected to be at the school gates by 4pm. Children must be collected by an adult on time. Any updates / changes will be posted on this page and don't forget to check out the scrolling banner on the homepage also.
Thursday 15th June -
Good Morning!
All children settled in well and enjoyed the first 2 activities yesterday. Dinner was a big success and everyone slept well.
At least half of the children were awake and at my door at 5am! No excuses for anyone being late for school EVER again. We had a lovely morning caving, mini beast hunting, bush craft and night lining. We will have a quiz this afternoon. All the children are having fun and very much enjoying the food!
Friday 16th June -
We all had a much needed lie in this morning. No one was awake or up before 7am. We had a quiz and team games before bed last night. Caving was another one of our activities yesterday. We are off to the beach this morning; sun cream and sun hats all ready! Look out for more pictures soon!
Saturday 17th June 2:45pm -
The children have left Kingswood and are travelling back to SPSM in style (take a look at the photos of the coach!). The coach is scheduled to arrive on time, 4pm.
